TORONTO: The search is on for the next Dancing Superstar Duo in Canada. “LOVE BIRDS”, presented by TK Connections, a Valentine’s Night to be held on February 5, 2016 in Mississauga, will provide a platform to search for the next Dance Reality Superstars in Toronto.
The contestants will be judged on a wide range of categories and standards chosen by Dance Gurus of the Greater Toronto Area, say organizers. Auditions will be held via online submission and finalists will be chosen by our expert panel of judges. The finalists will compete alongside local and international celebrities on stage and the event will present additional entertainment acts. The Competition will feature 3 – 5 finalists, chosen from a range of duos that audition, battling for a chance to win a cash prize as well as non-monetary prizes.
“The aim of this event is to stage a sensational spectacle by showcasing extraordinary talent of dance expression. Focus will be put on diverse international dance forms,” say organizers.
The contest is open to all budding dancers between 16 and 40 years of age. The finalists will perform in front of an audience of 700 plus people.
Five finalists will be selected through an online Viewer’s Choice poll. The finalists will have the opportunity to perform live in February at the Toronto finals at the Verdi Banquet Hall in Mississauga before the winners are declared. The winning dancer/ team will be awarded a cash prize and the two runners up will also receive substantial prizes.
